    How to Check-Up?

    Check-up; It is a health screening method consisting of physical examination, blood and urine tests and imaging methods. In addition, a full medical evaluation is made by questioning the complaints of the people, their history, background, family history, habits and if any, the drugs they use constantly, and their allergy history. In the check-up control examination, all data are reviewed, possible risks are revealed and solutions are offered.

    What should you pay attention to before coming to the check-up?

    Compliance with the following conditions before check-up is of great importance for the accuracy of check-up results.

    • Be hungry: Try not to eat after 12 o'clock the night before.
    • Don't have breakfast, don't snack.
    • Do not smoke, drink tea, coffee, do not chew gum - Do not drink after 12 o'clock at night.
    • Try to consume more water - You can drink a glass of water at most after 12 o'clock at night.
    • If you have medicines that you need to take in the morning, do not use them that day.
    • Do not consume alcohol 3 days before.
    • Do not apply any cream to your body if you are going to have an echocardiogram.
    • Do not exercise on the day you arrive at the Check-Up.
    • If you are pregnant or have any doubts about this, please inform your doctor before starting the procedure.
    • Please bring the results of previous tests and examinations with you.
    • Don't forget to bring your sports clothes and sneakers with you for the effort test.
    • Do not wear jewelry.
    • Check-up for women should not coincide with menstruation (menstrual) days.

    Postpone Your Appointment

    Postpone your check-up appointment if you are experiencing one or more of the following conditions before check-up

    • If you have signs of infection such as fever, weakness, sore throat that started in the morning,
    • If menstruation (menstrual bleeding) has started,
    • If you have ongoing antibiotic treatment,
    • If you have consumed alcohol in less than 3 days.

    Drug Use Before Check-Up

    • If you regularly use aspirin and your Check-up package includes a "fecal occult blood test", stop taking aspirin 5 days in advance. If there is a condition (coronary heart disease, heart valve disease, etc.) that requires you to use regular aspirin, make sure to note it on the Drug Information Form.
